Baby Checks

You should register your baby at the surgery as soon as possible, you will find their NHS number inside the front cover of your Red Book.  If your baby was born outside the UK please don’t worry we will be able to register the baby without it.

You should then book an eight week check for you and your baby, which you can book in advance. Your baby will also receive their first immunisations at 8 weeks so don’t forget to book with the practice nurse for these too.

We advise you that you can do them all on the same day, the Practice Nurse will advise you of the immunisation schedule for your baby so you know when to expect notification of their regular immunisations.
