Here at Sutherland Lodge Surgery the health and wellbeing of our patients is our priority, and we are aware that these are difficult times for families and home life can be challenging.
Sutherland Lodge Surgery is fully compliant with the Equality Act and has wheelchair access throughout as well as disabled parking spaces. All patient information guides are available in Braille, on disk and in large print if required.
We offer home visits to registered patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.
When we have received the results from a test you have had done, you will be contacted by text. Please be patient with the receptionists as they are not medically trained and can only pass on what the doctor has told them.
If you take medication on a long-term basis, you can order a repeat prescriptions using a number of options.
If you are sick for more than seven days, your employer can ask you to give them some form of medical evidence to support payment of SSP (statutory sick pay). Proof of your illness typically comes from a ‘Fit Note’ which you can ask from your GP.
If you need urgent medical care when the centre is closed, please call NHS 111. This is the three digit telephone number for urgent care services in the area.
